Five Towns College Men’s Soccer Hands Bryant & Stratton Syracuse First Loss of Season with Dominant 3-0 Victory
Dix Hills, NY — The Five Towns College men's soccer team delivered a statement win on Saturday afternoon, defeating previously unbeaten Bryant & Stratton Syracuse by a score of 3-0 in a North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) matchup. The commanding performance not only handed the visitors their first loss of the season but also solidified Five Towns College as a serious contender in the NACIA standings.
The Sound were led by Erick Giron, who earned Player of the Game honors after netting two goals and playing a pivotal role in the team's attacking success.
Following the match, Head Coach Jason Fiscina praised his team's focus, discipline, and execution across all phases of the game.
"Huge win for the boys," said Fiscina. "They played a complete game. From start to finish the boys played great team soccer and executed the game plan."
Five Towns came out aggressive from the opening whistle, pressing high and controlling possession early. Giron opened the scoring in the first half with a clinical finish inside the box and added his second midway through the second half on a swift counterattack. The third goal came late by Josel Castillo, sealing the victory and capping off a near-flawless team effort.
Defensively, the Sound were just as impressive, neutralizing one of the most dangerous attacking units in the NACIA. The back line and goalkeeper, Jose Garcia, remained composed under pressure and secured a well-earned clean sheet.
The victory improves Five Towns College's conference record and injects momentum into a team that continues to grow stronger each week. The Sound now turn their attention to their next conference opponent, Bryant & Stratton Buffalo, as they aim to build on this marquee win.
